Cody Longreen

Cody Longreen is a 28-year-old trumpet player from Milwaukee, WI, where he has been working as a freelance musician since high school. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Music Liberal Arts from the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire in 2022 and is currently a Master’s student at the University of Memphis, concentrating in Jazz Studies.

Cody was a finalist in the National Trumpet Competition’s Jazz Division in 2016 and 2017. He has worked with jazz luminaries such as Jimmy Heath, Doc Severinsen, and Brian Lynch. Fun fact: He has titanium elbows!
