Beginner Percussion Boot Camp
This intensive camp will focus on:
- Fundamental techniques for each percussion family: snare drum, mallets, accessories, and timpani
- Exploration of the role of every percussion family
- Fundamental stroke types for snare drum
- Sight reading techniques
- Materials subject to change based on performance of the group

Requirements
Please bring at least one pair of drumsticks, mallets, a practice pad, hearing protection, and a pocket folder to keep provided sheet music in. These items will be available for purchase in the store if needed. Students should bring lunch, snacks, and drinks daily. A water cooler will be available for use.
