Marshall Huffman

Marshall Huffman is a freelance performer and guitar teacher based in Memphis. He has over three years of experience teaching guitar, as well as performing in churches, bars, and music venues. Marshall earned his Bachelor's Degree in Commercial Music Guitar Performance from the University of Memphis in the spring of 2025, studying under Dr. Patrick Sutton.

He enjoys a wide variety of music—from blues to fusion to jazz to rock—and is passionate about both playing and teaching these styles. Marshall has performed at numerous venues across Memphis, including The Lamplighter Lounge, The Hi Tone, Rooster's Blues House, The Green Room, Lafayette’s Music Room, and the Delta Fair. He has also contributed to recording projects, notably as a featured guitarist on the album Eastward by Zeke and the Remanent.

As an educator, Marshall has worked with students ranging in age from 4 to 72 and across a wide range of skill levels. He takes a personalized approach to teaching, helping each student achieve their unique goals with the instrument.

In his free time, Marshall enjoys spending time with his puppies, family, and friends, as well as playing video games and watching television.
