Telissah Williams
Instructor - Piano

Telissah Williams is a classical pianist, playing a variety of classical music composers such as: Ludwig van Beethoven, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Johann Sebastian Bach, and Frederic Chopin. Williams completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in 2003 from the University of Memphis. Furthermore, she completed her Master of Education degree from American InterContinental University in 2006, and an additional Master of Science degree in Spanish Language Education from Nova Southeastern University in 2009.

Ms. Williams has been a professor for 16 years. She has also served as interim division chair for the division of fine arts humanities at LeMoyne Owen College in January of 2019. She was published in a nationwide article as one of six African American scholars to be appointed to faculty posts at colleges and universities. She has taught for LeMoyne Owen College, Southwest Community College, University of Memphis, Christian Brothers University, Motlow State Community College, William and Johnson Career College, and Virginia Union University.

Ms. Williams was a classical pianist for events at LeMoyne Owen College and she plays as a freelance pianist for weddings and other events in her leisure time. As an enthusiastic educator, Ms. Williams has taught piano lessons to students of all ages. She currently teaches private and group piano lessons. Ms. Williams is very enthusiastic about teaching private piano lessons and hopes to teach many more students in the future.
