What's New at Rhythm & Grooves Music Academy:

Happy October, Academy families!

October has been full of music and milestones at Rhythm & Grooves! With marching season wrapping up and All-West auditions on the horizon, our students are finishing the month strong. We can’t wait to see what’s next for our talented musicians.

Thanksgiving Break Closure

We will be closed for Thanksgiving Break from Tuesday, November 25 through Sunday, November 30, 2025. Please remember that there are no makeups for the Thanksgiving holiday closing, as tuition is based on a 48-week year. During months with five lessons, you are not charged extra; during months with three lessons, you are not charged less. If you have any questions, please review our Policies & Procedures or reach out to us at info@rhythmandgroovesmusic.com

Have a wonderful holiday! 🦃

2026 Winter Recital Sign-Ups

Sign-ups for the 2026 Winter Recital are still open! The recital is planned for the weekend of January 17–18, 2026, and the schedule release has been moved to late November. Parents: the sign-up sheet is on the coffee table in the Waiting Area. If you happen to forget, just email our office manager, Kat, and she’ll be happy to add your student to the list. We can’t wait to celebrate our students’ hard work!

Ensemble Season Returns January 2026!

A new season of ensembles begins January 2026 with the return of our Percussion Ensemble and Rock Band programs! These ensembles are the perfect way for young musicians to collaborate, perform, and take their musical skills to the next level — all while having a blast with friends.

Participation is open to current Rhythm & Grooves students who are also enrolled in private lessons. This allows your teacher to support you with your ensemble music and help you grow as both a solo and group musician. It’s truly the best way to become a well-rounded player.

Stay tuned for more details!
