September is here, and we’re so excited to share another month of music with our Rhythm & Grooves families! Thank you for letting us be part of your child’s journey—we can’t wait to see all the growth and joy this season will bring.

Fall Break

As Fall Break approaches, we want to remind everyone that we will remain open during that time. If you plan to go on vacation, please be sure to cancel your lesson in My Music Staff and contact your instructor to schedule a make-up lesson upon your return. We hope you enjoy a safe and fun break!

2026 Winter Recital Sign-Ups

Sign-ups for the 2026 Winter Recital open on October 1, 2025! The schedule will be released in mid-November, and we’re excited to share that the recital is planned for the weekend of January 17–18, 2026. If you’re interested in participating in this free event, be sure to talk with your instructor. Mark your calendars and stay tuned for more details!

MMS - The Scheduling & Learning Portal

Everyone should have received the Portal Login Setup email for My Music Staff (MMS), our new scheduling system. We ask that all students, parents, and instructors use MMS for scheduling needs—especially for lesson cancellations. This helps our administrators keep an accurate record of lessons given and lessons owed. Our goal in using MMS is simple: more transparency and better communication!

Students and parents can also find their instructor’s contact email address under the Contact Info tab in the portal.

If you haven’t received your setup email, or if you have any questions about using MMS, please email kat@rhythmandgroovesmusic.com and she’ll be happy to help.

MLS Certificates for September

Your certificates are printed and ready for you. A list of names is posted on the wall, organized by lesson day and instructor. If you see your name, let your instructor know so they can proudly present your certificate. And if you or your instructor are out this week, no worries—you’ll be celebrated at your next lesson!

Please note: trophies are currently backlogged but have been ordered. They may take some time to arrive, but we’ll make sure students receive them as soon as possible.
