Intermediate Percussion Boot Camp

This intensive camp will focus on:

• Further developing snare drum techniques, including advanced rudiments
• Further developing mallet skills, including advanced 2-mallet and beginner 4-mallet techniques
• Developing skills on timpani, including tuning and stroke types
• Developing skills with percussion accessories (tambourine, triangle, crash cymbals, etc.)
• Materials subject to change based on performance of the group

Skill details: Intermediate middle school percussion students with some experience playing percussion instruments.

Materials incuded: Instruments will be provided.

! Requirements: Please bring at least one pair of drumsticks, mallets, a practice pad, hearing protection, and a pocket folder to keep provided sheet music in. These items will be available for purchase in our store if needed. Students should bring lunch, snacks, and drinks daily. A water cooler will be available for use.
